I read this morning that 62 percent of people listen to music to fall asleep and Sheeran’s relaxing acoustic love songs is the second most favourite music to listen to so people can fall asleep. Different genres shows up on this list. As more than half of people surveyed said music helped them fall asleep faster. Six in 10 people are sleep-deprived. So while music is clearly a helpful sleep aid, other techniques from experts include sleeping in a cold room and staying off your phone 30 minutes before bed.
